This week Notts Rockers Jethro talks with long time friend Sam Heyhoe about his new fitness clothing range Hundred Weight Apparel! Which long story short will be a fitness clothing ranges for alternative types. Also you might know Sam as the drummer from Three Years Of Winter, which we get talking about what fitness it takes to play drums. AND!!! this was NottsRockCast’s first IN PERSON CHAT so we were humbly joined by our long time friend and listener Shayne Ellis!!! who gave his take on the Notts Alt Scene! and so much more!

  • Mindfest 2022 has been announced! Scheduled for 2nd April 2022, the event will be taking place all day across two venues, The Bodega and Rough Trade. It features a stacked line up so far, including Raging Clue, ska punk heavyweights Spunge, Like Giants and plenty more! Links will be below!

  • Novocaine are looking for a new bassist. Following the departure of Burke, who is still a member of The Bumblin’ Bees, the band now have a four string shaped vacancy that needs filling. If you would like to fill it, or know anybody who would, drop them a message on one of their socials!

  • Our boy Jim has unleashed his dark side, with his new band Trigger the Apocalypse’s new track “Fear Me”. Not for the faint of heart, this is a heavy, brutal new track. They’re also compiling fan videos of people listening and singing along to the track, if you’d like to get involved with that then send them a message!

  • Samer has released a melodic, dark instrumental track, titled “Monster”. Co-produced by Martin from Confyde, the guitar tones alone make this shred fest worthy of a listen, with raw energy pulsating out of that amp!

  • Cottonmouth will be playing at The Old Salutation Inn on the 18th of September as part of an all day show, also including Bad Llama, Those Once Loyal, Phoenix Lake, Cave Killer, I, the Mountain and a special guest performance, which has yet to be announced. This one will be a real fun day!
