That’s Not Music
With
Rob Bannister
Jim Plumb
and
Aaron JB Trent
This week Jethro gets talking about a subject “That’s Not Music!” Commonly said by people that have a different taste in music to you! So NRC Decided to take on a panel of guests to talk about the subject, so we got talking about it with Rob Bannister from Bloodstock, Aaron JB Trent of MindFest and NRC’s very own Reviewer Jim Plumb of Pagan Sword! And the conversation took lots of twists and turns, but all 4 of us agreed…… well you will have to listen to the episode for that one 😉

NEWS
- Our boy Jim has gone and released a new single! Titled “Friends with the Devil”, the track has a twang, with a real country/blues feel, with a real nice crunchy guitar tone. Yet another stylistic shift for Jim, hopefully leading to a hell of an interesting album.

- We have festival news! On 6th-8th of August Border Fest will be taking place opposite the Woodend Pub, Huthwaite, Sutton in Ashfield. The festival features local favourites as headliners such as Kelsey and the Embers, Unknown Era and The Collective Band. There are class bands all through the lineup, including my very own Decade and a Day alongside one of my other projects Change of Plan (With the very talented veteran Warren Ireland on vocals). Tickets are available but limited!
- The Five Hundred have teased new music is on the way with a post on their Instagram profile. The post is a short clip from a video with a little orchestral vocal melody with the whole band stood and an orange backdrop. Exciting news from on of my personal favourite metal bands.
