NEWS
- Devastating news first as Devastator have been forced to indefinitely postpone their Blasphemy Over Britain tour due to the current situation with COVID 19. The band were set to embark on the six date tour on the 19th of February alongside Beyond Your Design and Hellfekted. The band go on to speculate that the tour could be later this year or next year. It’s a real bummer about this one but hopefully once this clears up the band will be back on the road!

- As I’m sure you heard last week local folk rock artist Esme Knight released her new EP “Dirty River” just over a week ago. The EP is so different from anything else in the scene both lyrically with lots of references to paganism and musically, effortlessly drawing from a huge list of inspirations over multiple decades. The EP is available now on bandcamp!

- Confyde have touchingly paid tribute to Alexi Laiho of Children of Bodom, who passed away at 41 earlier this week. Alongside a heart-warming post about how much Alexi meant on their journey, as he did to many in the alt community, they also posted a cover of “Bed of Razors” from 1999’s Hatebreeder album. It’s on Confyde’s Instagram now!

- Finally, a reminder that local pop punk band Raging Clue are set to release their next single, “Drop This Feeling”, on the 13th of January. This promises to be a pop punk masterclass, with bright bass, fast paced drums, lots of power chords and a catchy hook to round it all off if their last single “She Don’t” is anything to go by. It’ll be available on all major streaming sites!
